Raipur 19 June 2024// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, addressing the felicitation ceremony of NCC cadets and instructors at his residence today, stated “NCC is an organization that instills discipline in the youth, builds character, nurtures courage, and inspires them towards selfless service. It also encourages our youth to pursue careers in the armed forces and other security services.”

He congratulated and extended his best wishes to the NCC officials and cadets who participated in the Republic Day parade. Expressing his happiness, he noted “This is a moment of great pride. It is heartwarming to witness the NCC cadets from our state marching on the Kartavya Path in New Delhi. The selection of a cadets from our state for the R-Day parade is a significant achievement not just for that cadets but for the entire state.”
Citing the NCC motto ‘Unity and Discipline’, Chief Minister Shri Sai shared how it nurtures patriotism and strengthens national unity. He also celebrated the increasing participation of girls in NCC, noting proudly, “Our girls have increased the prestige of Chhattisgarh by excelling in NCC at both national and international levels.”
He expressed confidence in the youth playing an important role in achieving this vision, stating, “With the contribution of our energetic youth, we will surely accomplish this goal and establish our nation as the strongest in the world. Whatever path you choose in the future, always remember that you are contributing to nation-building.”
During the ceremony, trainees and cadets were felicitated for their outstanding performances in various national competitions hosted by NCC. The event concluded with a captivating cultural performances by the cadets, featuring a dance inspired by the Baiga tribe and a traditional Kuchipudi performance.
Cabinet Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Smt. Bhawana Bohra, DG NCC Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh, ADG Major General AK Mahajan, Group Commander Brigadier VS Chauhan of NCC Headquarters Raipur, Chhattisgarh, along with army officers and cadets were also present.
